Ringside Politics With A Punch

Shut up and vote, you ponderous blowhards! So what if politicians are branded - what isn't? Russia attacks Georgia and is branded aggressive by bloggers through out the universe because the Georgians are smart enough to influence blog opinion. It's like Obama knowing how to use text messaging as McCain farts around looking for his rotary phone.

Let's get to the bottom of the Obama issue: race! Let's face it. Liberals hate him because he represents their greatest fear: once he takes the Oval office, their fake concerns will surface. They only talk about racial justice when other people have to deal with it. They can afford to put their little darlings in private white schools as the regular white folk have to deal with the effects of poverty - on the front lines, in the trenches.

Conservatives hate everybody, so what else can be said> The Republican Convention was a display of hate and intolerance. Check out Cindy McCain and her lover Palin speaking so sweetly, with several interludes of hateful, mean-spirited, Tony Joe White-swamp fat back detours.

Dr. H. is no McLuhan. I knew McCluhan. The media is the message. Massage is the media. The media is the massage. Brand it, hand it, can't stand it.

Please, get off your arses and vote for Obama. At least the cat can speak. And his wife is hot, too.

Mr. Horvitz has analyzed Senator Obama in a depth which most media would never attempt. We thank him greatly.
Senator Obama reminds me of paper doll book I had as a child. He looks absoulutely fantastic and sounds good...however there is no substance...just as my book.
Whenever Senator Obama states that he want change, he never says for the better...we need progress. The way he states things he could just go from one negative to another. He should want Progress not Change.

Very thought-provoking piece, Dr. Horvitz. I can't say that I agree with all of your points, but you certainly made me think more deeply about the issue of branding.
