Politics with a Punch
Schedule
March 11th
Join us for another unforgettable edition of Politics with a Punch, our local version of “Politically Incorrect.” It is a fast-paced, free-wheeling, no-holds barred discussion of what is happening in our city, state and nation. We place a premium on having a good time and expect plenty of laughs as we discuss the controversies and the outrageous antics of our local leaders and scoundrels.
We are excited to announce that we have a new home for our monthly show, the fabulous BLUE ROOM at the Roosevelt Hotel, 123 Baronne Street , New Orleans . Newly restored, the rebirth of the BLUE ROOM is part of a $187 million renovation of the Roosevelt Hotel, now part of the upscale Waldorf-Astoria portfolio-(see attached photo).
The legendary BLUE ROOM will be a historic setting for our show. This one of a kind venue has featured celebrities such as Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Durante. Dressed in deep blues and rich gold, this storied space will once again welcome special performances as the new home of Politics with a Punch.
The doors open at 6 p.m. for Punch Happy Hour as the BLUE ROOM bar will offer a delicious menu of specialty drinks for our patrons. As an added treat, first class dining will be offered prior and during the show. After our event ends, we invite you to join us for cocktails at the newly refurbished Sazerac Bar.
For the added comfort of our guests, the Roosevelt Hotel will offer valet parking. We also have secured special parking arrangements across the street from the hotel at the AMPCO System lot at 141 University Place . For all Punch patrons, the discounted parking rate will be only $5.00 for the entire night. Just ask for the special Punch parking ticket when you arrive at the show.

With so much serious discussion, it is helpful once a month to be able to poke fun at some of the hilarious, insane and unpredictable events which occur in this state. Since 2002, along with Steve Sabludowsky of Bayoubuzz.com, I have been a part of one political tradition that has grown into quite a success story.
In our seven years of existence, we have featured some of the top political, business, comedic, media and entertainment talent in Louisiana . I am honored to host Politics with a Punch, an event which has attracted sell-out crowds for the past several years.
Tickets are only $15.00 per person/$25.00 per couple.
As usual, the doors open at 6 p.m. for happy hour, delicious appetizers and socializing. Our show starts at 8 p.m.
We have now enjoyed over seven years of poking fun at Louisiana politics. At Punch, we guarantee everyone will have a good time, and anyone who has attended one of our events can attest to that fact.
