In my new column, "Sterilization Study Leads to Uproar" I examine State Representative John LaBruzzo’s idea to study the issue of sterilizing poor women and men on welfare. The voluntary program would include cash incentives for the poor to become sterilized and tax incentives for wealthier citizens to have more children. Needless to say, the plan has attracted controversy.
