In my new column, "Derrick the Deceiver" I examine the wily ways of State Sen. Derrick Shepherd (D-Marrero). He is under federal indictment, charged for battery on his girlfriend, caught with lap dancers at his house and is now under house arrest. He can’t serve it at his mansion because it is outside of his district, so he is moving back in with Mom. What a piece of work!
