In my new column, "Baghdad on the Bayou" I examine the ongoing crime problem in New Orleans and the lack of attention to the crisis. While North American leaders enjoyed the city during the summit, the underlying crime problem was ignored. For the past two years, New Orleans was the Murder Capital of the USA. Until this improves, full recovery from Katrina will not occur.

Our next Politics with a Punch is set for THURSDAY MAY 8. This is a very special show, as we begin our 7th year. Please make plans to join us. We are assembling another outstanding panel. Here are a few of the celebrities who will be in our line-up:
