COLUMN
In my new column, "Jordan's Departure a Halloween Treat for New Orleans" I examine the resignation of Orleans Parish District Attorney Eddie Jordan and what this will mean for New Orleans. In my view, it will restore confidence in the criminal justice system in New Orleans and give the plaintiffs who are owed $3.7 million some hope of a resolution.

POLITICS WITH A PUNCH
Louisiana's version of Politically Incorrect will be held at a new location the Cricket Club, 2040 St. Charles Avenue.
Our next Politics with a Punch is set for THURSDAY NOVEMBER 8. Please mark your calendar and make plans to join us. We are in the process of assembling another outstanding panel. The final details will be announced very soon.
In recent months, we have enjoyed record crowds, and many people were unable to attend because of sell-outs. The old venue was just too small. At our new location, more of our friends will be able to enjoy this unique and funny program.
As usual, the doors open at 7 p.m. and the event begins at 8 p.m.
We have now enjoyed six years of poking fun at Louisiana politics. At Punch, we guarantee everyone will have a good time, and anyone who has attended one of our events can attest to that fact.
So, be sure to reserve your tickets at jeff@ringsidepolitics.com or #504-669-6076.
Tickets are only $15.00 per person/$25.00 per couple. To learn more about Politics with a Punch, visit our website: www.ringsidepolitics.com.
Hope to see you Thursday November 8 for Politics with a Punch!
